Photos of our learning

In year 4, we learn to play chess. Chess encourages reasoning, problem-solving and sportsmanship and is great for developing children’s concentration and patience.

The next step in art was to create a sculpture of a woolly mammoth using clay. It took a lot of skill and we were so pleased with the results!

In science, we used an app which helped us to see right inside our digestive systems!

In art, we were inspired by the cave paintings of the Stone Age and had a go at creating our own in pastels. We also used our pencil drawing skills to draw prehistoric creatures.

Exploring how the digestive system works!

In Science we're learning about the digestive system. We found out about teeth and their functions. So we had to check out our own!

Imagine you woke up in the Stone Age, naked, cold and hungry! What would you need to do to survive................?

We wrote and performed our own poems in English.
