🏫 School Opening and Closing Times

We love welcoming our children into school each morning.
Doors open at 8:40am and close at 8:55am.
If you arrive after this time, please come through the school office so we can sign your child in safely.

Greenhill Primary School is open for 32 hours and 55 minutes each week, offering a full and engaging school experience for every child.

🍽️ Breaks and Lunchtimes

• Reception: 11:30am – 12:30pm

• Years 1–6: 12:00pm – 1:00pm

• Morning break: 15 minutes for all children

• Afternoon break: Additional short break for Key Stage 1

These breaks give children time to recharge, socialise and get ready for learning.

⏰ End of the School Day

School finishes at 3:15pm.

• Children must be collected by an authorised adult.

• If not collected by 3:25pm, they will wait safely at the school office.

• Running late? Just give us a call — we completely understand!

• Years 5 & 6 may walk home independently with written permission from parents/carers.

🌈 Nursery Sessions

Our Nursery runs two sessions every weekday during term time:

• Morning: 8:30am – 11:30am

• Afternoon: 12:10pm – 3:10pm

🐾 Helpful Reminders

• For health and safety reasons, pet dogs are not allowed on school grounds.

• Vehicles may only be driven onto the site before 8:30am or after 3:40pm to keep everyone safe during busy times.
